THE OCEAN WELCOMES YOU is an interactive fiction game that begins as a whodunnit murder mystery and morphs into a horror as the story wants more bodies. Play as Detective Darla Rust as she wades through the peculiar cast of characters invited to Margato Manor's annual brunch gathering. Collect CLUES, avoid RED HERRINGS, and try not to run into an inevitable GAME OVER.
This game is inspired by Umineko When They Cry, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, the TV show Poker Face, and the idea that every murder mystery is inherently a tragedy.
Play time is about 30 minutes. Press enter or spacebar to go through the game. Click on choices with the mouse or by pressing the number of the choice on your keyboard.
